Associated Youth Services (AYSP)

AYSP offers mental health and youth justice programs for children, youth, and their families.
Their effective, quality and high-impact programs include:

  • Family programs - a variety of counselling programs for children and youth, ages 0–17, and their families
  • Youth programs - counselling and support programs for youth who are struggling with mental health and substance use issues, housing, transitions to adult services, and for youth who identify as 2SLGBTQ+
  • Youth justice programs - for youth involved in the Youth Justice System. Some programs are mandated for the youth and others are voluntary counselling programs for the youth and/or their families
  • Groups - Parenting groups for parents/caregivers, and various support and educational groups for youth throughout the year

Service Hours Mon to Fri 9 to 5, with evening programming
Who can use this service Youth and families in the Dufferin area. Referrals are received from police services, crown attorneys and probation services. MST program referrals from community. Adult community service order program referred through probation and parole services.
