D-Camps - Canadian Diabetes Association
Diabetes Canada operates summer camps, family camps and leadership programs for children and youth with type 1 diabetes.
- Our summer camps are designed to provide children living with type 1 diabetes the opportunity to enjoy an authentic camp experience in a medically accommodating environment, with a dedicated team of professionals.
- Our Family camps are for children living with type 1 diabetes, along with their parents, siblings and caregivers. Families get to learn more about type 1 diabetes, share knowledge and experiences, network and build relationships with other families going through similar challenges.
- Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) is for youth with diabetes who have an interest in developing their leadership skills. Youths will gain confidence, independence, and skills to lead a group of people.
